After interviewing countless OBs, MFMs, and even a cardiologist to get the 411 on heart rate in pregnancy, Heidi learned that (outside of a mother’s intuition and listening to her body) the “talk test” is an amazing barometer of what is “safe” cardio for her. If you can carry on a conversation while you do your workouts while you are carrying your precious cargo, you should be good to go!
AS ALWAYS: you *must* ask your doctor (OB or MFM if expecting) what is right for YOU in each pregnancy, and get their go-ahead. Each pregnancy on each mama is SO very unique, so please respect that miracle!
